WHERE IS THE EVENT PARKING?
Some limited parking is available onsite. Alternatively, the closest Car Park is the Faraday Mill Car Park, Cattedown, Plymouth PL4 0SE. We ask our guests to use the City Car Parks that are a short walk away from our main entrance. Please do not park on any side street close by as parking measure will be in operation.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST CASH POINT?
The closest ATM is in the Co-Op 38-40 Embankment Rd, Prince Rock, Plymouth PL4 9HY a short walk away.
WHAT ARE THE NEAREST PUBLIC TRANSPORT LINKS?
Plymouth Winter City is easily accessible by public transport, and best links are by bus: City Bus 5 or 5a or Stagecoach 1a, 2, 3, 4 or the gold bus. We are 25 minutes walk from Plymouth Station. 10 minutes walk from the City Centre.
HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR TICKETS?
e-tickets are issued to the email that is provided at the time of booking. Please print off the e-ticket and present it to the staff at the Ice Rink, Grotto or Ticket Office.
CAN WE BUY TICKETS ON THE DAY?
On the day bookings can be taken on site at our box office or purchased online if there is any availability.
HOW CAN I BOOK SANTA TICKETS?
Tickets to see Santa are £10 per child off peak and £12 per child high peak and includes two gifts from Santa and plenty of time for you to take photos. Parents can accompany children, free of charge. There are no time slots, just arrive before 7pm, show your ticket to the attendant and queue to see Santa. Please ensure you arrive to join the queue 1 hour before closing to guarantee you will see Santa. Santa is ready for visitors on Weekdays from 3pm till 8pm and Weekends & School Holidays from 12 noon till 8pm.
HOW DO WE PAY FOR FUNFAIR RIDES?
Unlimited ride time slots can be purchased online. Alternatively, please buy tokens at our Box office on site near the Ice Rink. No money is taken on any of the fair rides on site. Each fun fair attraction will have a tariff on display which will be different.
HOW MUCH DO TOKENS COST?
Each token costs £1. Children’s rides start at £3 and other rides start at £4. Everyone who rides needs a token (even parents riding with children) and we try to keep the prices at a reasonable level to allow for this. Please remember, tokens can be on any day that the event is running – they are not exchangeable or refundable.
HOW LONG ARE THE SKATING SESSIONS?
Skating time slots last 1 hour. This includes 45 minutes of skating with 15 minutes to get your skates and get on and off the ice.
IS THERE A SPECTATOR FEE?
There is no spectator fee for the event. Plymouth Winter City is free entry.
CAN I WEAR MY OWN SKATES?
Yes, you may bring and wear your own hockey skates or figure skates. This does not affect the Skating Ticket fee.
WHAT SKATE SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?
Our skates go from size 3 up to an adult size 14.
CAN WE HIRE THE PENGUINS/SKATE AIDS?
The skating aids are for children aged 8 and under and can be reserved in advance from the box office on a first come first served basis for £5.00 each.
DO STUDENTS GET A DISCOUNT?
Student sessions are £10 per person at peak times and must be booked online.
CAN I GET A REFUND FOR MY BOOKING?
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. Please ensure you purchase the correct day and time when booking your tickets online.
